Is your pup proficient with basic obedience cues, but has some problem behaviors you’d like to address?  Maybe they dart out open doors? Jump on guests? Walk YOU on leash? Do they give you the stink eye when you call them to come?

Maybe you both could just use some professional guidance to get back in the groove? Smartypaws will come to your home (or a local park if applicable) and offer a personalized training/behavior consultation to address your individual needs.  

These consultations are $399. Additional in-home follow up sessions are $150/hr.

Does your adolescent pup or adult dog need training? Smartypaws offers customized and convenient in-home packages for dogs over 5 months old that will address unwanted behaviors and teach new appropriate ones. From basic manners and obedience to therapy dog training, Smartypaws guides you in achieving your unique dog training goals!

Basic Dog $599:

• 4 private in-home sessions (about an hour each)
• Train basic manners and cues

• Teach one trick

Elite Pup $699:

• 4 private in-home sessions (about an hour each)

• Teach 2 or more tricks (if desired)

• Canine Enrichment Activity library access - new boredom busting activities introduced each session!
• 1 BONUS session redeemable within 6 months

The American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen Program is designed to reward dogs who have good manners at home and in the community. The Canine Good Citizen Program stresses responsible pet ownership for owners and basic good manners for dogs. All dogs who pass the 10-step CGC test may receive a certificate from the American Kennel Club. As of January 1, 2013, Canine Good Citizen® became an official AKC title that can appear on the title records of dogs registered or listed with AKC.

Smartypaws offers AKC CGC evaluations for $30 at an outdoor location in Lee’s Summit, MO. Or, $50 at other locations around Kansas City.

In-person group classes are not available at this time.
